BMWs new bikes look nice; basic and uncluttered... the benefits of not running a title sponsor: The new S1000RR is ridiculously small for a 1000cc in-line four though ;

Rea is almost a second faster than Lowes in second place. 😔

Just read that Laverty is on Bitubo suspension. That's him fighting another handicap.

He needs a Spondon frame with an Yam Exup thou, RC45 swingarm, and a ZX7R front end. Some sort of fudged Ducati fairing or tailpiece will also work. Well it used to work for the Reader's Special page.
Droog can build it for him.

Its a bit of a standing joke, but the team have to pull in money from wherever they can I suppose.

I'm still convinced that the big hindrance for Bradley Ray is the Bitubo setup on his bike. They have to run it as Steve Hicken (good bloke) is the importer. Shame.

I thought it was his stupid haircut. Short back and sides wins races.

Final pre-season test Phillip Island coming up next Monday (18th & 19th), before the season kicks off on 23rd & 24th.
Hopefully we'll see some new faces, new bikes and new teams up at the pointy end, but I can't see past again Rea for the title as he is so consistent.

Good mix of riders, teams and bikes up front, which is good to see. Fingers crossed that Honda isn't just making up the numbers again and that 2019 isn't another damp squib!

I still think Kiyo was done a decade ago. Strange rider choice unless it comes with unobtanium parts.

There's an interview with Leon Camier on bikesport news and he doesn't seem overly confident that Honda can make the necessary changes to get them closer to the front.

And that's a hell of a time from Bautista, 2 seconds faster than Chaz.
