I'm past mid life now and while I have a couple of much better cars on the drive I'm using a 2005 Polo Dune Diesel with 100k on the clock (a very cold hatch)as my main car. Similar on the bikes where I'm not using the HP I have in the garage but using my 500 Velo. It's nice to drive and ride at an easy pace and it really reduces the threat of speeding points and bans.
