The mind is an odd thing. Good to hear things have at least been diagnosed and are sort of under control.
I've started on the weights again. After finally getting to the point of no tendonitis I went down the low weight high volume route and have now started to up the weights and drop the volume. I do seem to be making progress even at 50 and I would say it's good for your mood.

Well, epilepsy has been confirmed; My wife has had multiple seizures everyday since November and of the 40 or so different types, my wife has experiences about 20 of them on a regular basis! Reading through the symptoms, it makes you wonder how many of us are actually have seizures which don't result in an epileptic episode; www.nhs.uk/conditions/epilepsy/symptoms/The first one that she had was a tonic-clonic, which, luckily, has not been repeated. My wife is now on medication (lamotrigine) to help control the seizures. The neurologist has been slowly increasing the her dosage since before Christmas and from today, she is at the level where they are hoping the drugs will start having an effect. As with any drug, there are side effects; headaches, drowsiness, sleeping difficulties, nausea etc. Apparently one common side effect is an increased libido, my wife's case has sky rocketed. Neither of us are complaining in that respect and, as she says, "you have to take the rough with the smooth!". Every cloud, as they say... Glad to hear that the diagnosis is conclusive, a lot of people I know seem to be suffering from long term issues which the doctors just can't identify, mut be incredibly frustrating. In fact I went to the doctor about a lump on my thumb and he seemed really perplexed, genuinely interested in what it might be as he had no idea. So he refered me to the dermatologist who also said, no idea, you need an ecograph, the ecographist was looking at it for quite a while saying it might be this, it might be that, but no concluive decision (except for it isn't cancer). It doesn't bother me much, but it surprises me that that in this stage of medicinal knowledge, three experts can't say what has caused a lump on a thumb....

I'm sure that given all the shite that we've been through, someone on this forum might be able to give you a diagnose

My mate used to get all sorts of weird lumps on his hands. I seem to remember they were cysts of some sort.
I went to docs with a lump on the top of my foot and he said it probably a cyst and just ignore it unless it changes or gets painful.
