I dont think I've ever seen anything like that from mechanics before. Sneaking into teams pits and changing settings at BSB SSK once iirc. The RD/jury have banned the 2 mechanics for 2 races and fines them €2000. I think they should have penalised them by back of the grid start as well. Its up to Biaggi if he wants to do more. Its a pile of pooh all around. Moto3 qualifying is all about waiting for a tow and subsequent dangerous riding. The Tech3 team claim it prevented their rider from leaving with "the good group" and cost him qualifying positions. But Fernandez could have carried on. It has his mechanic who turned the bike off and they had to restart it. Why pick on Fernandez? He is 20th in the championship and off the pace anyway. Had something else gone on beforehand? www.motogp.com/en/video_update/2022/09/17/two-moto3-mechanics-get-2-race-ban-for-misconduct-during-q2/436119

Fernandez getting shoved off track in the race as well, from 5th place.

Fernandez back to 5th place at the flag, a good recovery. Either NH or MLav said he was in Biaggi's team last year, maybe bad blood?
Stella ride from Guevara, looking quids in now. Still 5 races to go, but he is looking good, his 2nd year in the class.

Acosta back to winning again after breaking his femur.
Dixon, groan.

Crashing on the last lap is poor stuff, more so when he wasn't really looking like taking those places.

Well, Marc back with a bang. That sure changed the dynamic of the championship.

Idiot stuff from Ducati. The amount they are putting in and can't be arsed to pull team orders. Spend millions developing parts and then throw away 5 points like that.

Great move from Bastiannini!....hell of a team for Factory Ducati in 2023. I'm glad there are no team orders.

Top rate riding from Bastianini. Did it with a nice clean pass.
Thank you Ducati for no arm twisting and team orders.

Seeing as we've seen 0.5 point championships and Ducati haven't seen anything since 07 I'd be pulling out all the stops.
Race was boring and that was about the only move anyway. Hardly would have made any difference if they'd stayed in place.
Team orders aren't what makes F1 boring. It's the cars. Same is starting to happen to MotoGP bikes.

8 Ducatis on the grid, 4 in the top 6. How shit would it be if the Ducati boss called the finishing order with 6 races to go.

Only one is seriously fighting for the title. Once again, think of the money they are putting in to get that title.
Suzy Perry is all 'we don't do team orders in MotoGP' as if it's written into the rules or something.
If FQ had broken his leg or something I'd say go for it so what you want and do idiot moves all you want. Still Aleix in the mix as well.
