I think Redding has made a shit move after testing has unraveled so the top 3 won't be the same. I reckon Bautista will either kick arse or just fall off all the time like last time. Wildcard will be the Honda riders and maybe Gerloff. Pretty sure nothing unexpected will happen otherwise. I see Laverty is somehow still in the series. He must love being near the back or something. Can't see why he doesn't call it a day at world level and do BSB.

I think Locatelli will also improve this year. But Toprak, Rea and Bautista. Rinaldi will probably blow hot and cold again.

Unless Rea has had a lobotomy and Toprak has somehow forgotten all his braking markers it's going to be another 2 way battle this year.
They were so far ahead in class last year apart from intermittent surges of form from Redding.
I think Bautista will run them close, Locatelli ditto, Gerloff not so much, Redding, big mistake leaving Ducati. The rest will fight it out for scraps.
Still reckon we will be entertained this year.

His replacement team mate Ilya Mikhalchik is quicker than him at the moment, and that wont help him. |

I dont think Mahias would have looked to see if he could get that bike going again after he crashed if he had seen a video of it flying through the air. That was a lot of damage for a front end washout. He had a bit of a head plant in the gravel as well.

JT just said the Triumph WSS engine is the same as the Moto2 engine. I thought it was a street bike series? Or can you select Moto2 engine like you can anodised bolt kit, loud exhaust (for race use only) and comfort seat on Triumph's create your Triumph website?

Baz' time was a 1 lap wonder, his next was 0.66s slower. Still bloody quick for a bimmer though, 2nd fastest over all 3 FP sessions.
