Yamaha have said Vinales withdrawn from next race to 'unexplained irregular operation of the motorcycle'?
WFT is going here? Yamaha saying the dude wrecked his race on purpose??

Must be pretty serious if it is Yamaha who are stopping him.

This is one of those things where you get blackballed from the industry if true. Nobody will take him.
Good job he's already earned more than he'll need for the rest of his days.

From Yamaha:
'Yamaha‘s conclusion is that the rider‘s actions could have potentially caused significant damage to the engine of his YZR-M1 bike which could have caused serious risks to the rider himself and possibly posed a danger to all other riders in the MotoGP race.'
Weird shit is happening!

yamaha said his actions could've significantly damaged the motor. what's he done? has he red-lined it with the clutch in round the back of the circuit to try and force an engine failure and make it look like he's being mistreated by the factory. i wonder what it could be? surely, he's aware of the extensive data and telemetry that's constantly gathered?

Maybe he's a proper thick cunt?
Ah, I've got it. Mental health. By the end of the week Vinales will be stunning and brave for standing up to his Japanese oppressors.

Over to MV to see what he says. If he says I dont know what Yamaha are on about, Yamaha might find themselves on the end of an awkward situation, unless they provide the evidence. If he says nothing, it makes you think he did something.

I'd have done something like take a shit in Lin Jarvis's motorhome or some comedy battery on a door handle thing. WELL SHIIIIEEET. Seemingly he spent the last few laps keeping it in a low gear and revving it's tits off down the straights

In the GPOne interview he said the dash showed 'pit lane' for the last few laps. He stayed out, touring in last place.

Whatever the truth is, it's a peculiar turn of events for sure.

In the crash article there is a tweet from someone asking why Vinales was revving the fuck out of it lap after lap.

Christ, maybe I'm soft but I'd be more like Rossi and Rutter hanging on in there for as long as possible. I reckon I'd struggle to get over losing the buzz of not racing at a high level. The thought of professional suicide is something I can't get my head around.
He's not french so loses that excuse.
