Seriously, how can you compare the two incidents? I mean, really, what could you possibly think they have in common with one another, besides the fact they both took place on motorbikes?
Zarco ran right to the edge of the curb there, meaning there was exactly ZERO space for Rossi. Just like at Assen, where MM ran wide and left no room for Rossi. Meanwhile, with the famous Gubernau incident, Rossi never left the track and never even went all the way to the outside.
Plus, as the overhead shot showed us, Rossi was actually ahead of Sete when SETE TURNED INTO, AND HIT, ROSSI. That wasn't the case here.
The bias against Rossi in here is nothing short of pathetic. Are you fans of the sport, or mindless supporters with the hooligan mentality?
MM ran through the runoff TWICE at Silverstone last year (plus a bunch of other time at other circuits, since he thinks he is free to do whatever the fuck he pleases, and Dorna actively encourages it). One time was when battling with Crutchslow (I think it was), but the other time he simply out-braked himself. It was a unforced mistake made on his own, while trying to gain some time or track position, and he rejoined the track in the same position as where he went off, after using the paved runoff. But that is NOT OK. He made a fucking mistake, but he used the runoff to simply cancel it out. Again, he though he was free to do whatever the fuck he wanted, and he was right.
Nope, not taking the piss, and nobody wants to see MM crash. But if MM fucks up on the brakes because he isn't as talented as he thinks, then he should lose some time because of it, no? An UPRIGHT run through the gravel would be fine to keep these things under control.
Nobody wants to see anyone getting hurt. We merely want to see riders playing fairly.
I think I've finally figured it out .... Hoppur, you're really Martin in disguise! No more anxious self-doubt about motivation, everything is now crystal clear! Thanks!
