After the Toprak incident and his ride in Motogp he pretty much went completely off the boil. I'm assuming he's still got a ride for next year but I'd his Neil Hodgson stock value has dropped considerably.

I think he was told in no uncertain terms to calm the fuck down.
He went from wild charger with a chance of either making a name for himself or killing someone to another midfield also-ran. Kept his ride though.
Sadly these days you can't just stroll in to international championships like a canonised version of John Kocinski and get away with whatever you want on the way to victory.
Praise be to the Lord.

When St Garrett of Gerloff first hit the scene (quite literally) and heard his post race Jesus shite i genuinely thought that he believed that because of his faith, the lord had his side. Despite all that nonsense i really like him but he sinned big time by taking out Yamaha's prodigal son at Assen. Clearly he got a massive bollocking from the top brass and never got his mojo back. Maybe now Toprak has finally won the thing and the potential 25 points he took from him no longer matters he can re-set and go steaming in again. Possibly he'll need mental training and only attempt death moves when the colour blue is absent from his vision. |
