Has Sting always been this much of a pretentious cunt?

Ages seems to have turned him into a pseud. I'm not saying he doesn't know his stuff but he's wrapped it in a massive layer of cuntery. Also sounds nothing like a geordie anymore. The cuntery is topped off by the fact he seems to have his eyes closed for most of the interview. 

It's a bit like a reverse of that Deadmau5 guy. I watched one of his Masterclass videos and he's making out as if he just slings shit together but let slip he went to music conservatory so actually the cunt should know music theory to a very high level and he's not making happy accidents that turn into hit tunes.
