I see Honda are trying to channel the spirit of Kiyo again.
Why are the bothering, these guys aren't even at the level of the superstock riders.

I guess factory backing and parts come with Japanese riders. UK riders & teams should boycott such nonsense and stick to UK manufacturers.

Well if you like watching dudes going round at fast group trackday pace then that's your flavour. I'd rather see someone better on the bikes.
Not sure exactly what 'trick' parts are available at BSB level anyway and you've got the stock ECU. This isn't 2005.

Like the WSB retired riders? They wont want to spend their pension to pay for BSB rides like MacKenzie didnt want to do. I'm not sure what Honda Japan get out of watching their riders scrape a few points together for either. Do many BSB riders get paid much? Or do they have to rely on personal sponsors?

No, they rely on being Lincolnshire plumber, Lee Jackson. And having relatives with bike dealerships etc.
Poor in Motorsport isn't really poor by normal people's standards. By normal people's standards nearly all the paddock are pretty loaded.
