Fuck me that was a hard watch. Tear in the old eye there.
Somehow seem more unfair when it happens to the best of them. If that fat bloke at work ended up like that it would probably not much difference to the net results of his contributions.
It's also a bit close to home when you ride bikes and simple accidents can turn into a bring and buy sale.

Clarkson and his cronies would never entertain bikes, the current trio are brilliant and take a bow Paddy McGuinness, that was a brilliant tribute to Eddie. Fascinating story, especially the jump off against Robbie Kneivel.
What a shitty way to end his career after all the mega jumps he did.
Still got a glint in his eye though.

Never like to see any cunt getting hurt but there's no getting away from the fact that jumping over really big things on a motorbike is an extraordinarily stupid pursuit and you can't really be surprised when the end result is a blue badge in the window of your motor.
Can't be fucked telling my Eddie Kidd story as I've done it before. He seems like a really sound guy but fuck me, an entire life in a fucking wheelchair and for what?

That was a great tribute, must admit I've only watched one or two of the new line-up but respect to Paddy McG for doing this. This aside , it's pretty much the same as always.
Pants, Both Hammond and May and serious bikers but they never got the chance to feature them in TG....or they weren't allowed...probably the latter.

If you've got 20 minutes give this a watch. The guy has got more of his life back than Kidd but he was pretty fucked at one point and will never be the same. Been a few BMXers that have paid a heavy price for the stunt life but level, like motogp is so high now, nobody cares if you can do a backflip. One minute you're the best, the next you're Blue Peter.

I only ever went to one Bulldog Bash and it happened to be that one. We saw it all happen without really realising how serious it was. Only later did we realise what we had witnessed. Not good.
