Top 3 WSBK as expected in FP1.
Just 20 WSS riders have gone. Last round there was 33.

From what I have read, a few weeks ago the flight operators and hotels started cancelling the bookings which the teams had made months ago and when they went to re-book, the prices had tripled or quadrupled. Some of the smaller teams just said fuck that and decided to stay at home.

Rea crashing out and finishing in 5th. Seems like the pressure is building. Rea will be hoping Toprak fucks off to Motogp.

Some of the smaller teams just said fuck that and decided to stay at home. I recall that, I thought they had changed the date of the race and they all had to rebook at a much higher price, but the date hasnt changed. I guess if an airline has cancelled some flights then finding new flights with another airline would be the issue. The cost of covid tests mentioned in the gpone article as well. I guess if you are not in the title fight, or your rider has crashed a lot and used up the budget then it would make the team think twice. Its normal for hotel and B&B to put their prices up on a race weekend, but the teams would have booked long in advance when the calendar was first published. www.gpone.com/en/2021/10/07/sbk/argentina-nightmare-cancelled-flights-skyrocketing-prices-sbk-on-its-knees.html

Rea's going to have pull something pretty impressive out of the hat to beat Toprak. To be fair Toprak and team have out-performed Rea and Kawasaki this year, even if he doesn't win Toprak can be satisfied that he did what Bautista and Redding with Ducati couldn't manage, push him hard all the way. I hope Razgatlioglu stays in WSB, the championship needs him.

I hope Razgatlioglu stays in WSB, the championship needs him. He has been the highlight for me this season. Go to MotoGP and aim for 10th place? I'm also pleased Scott Smart and co refused to accept the latest evolution of the Kawasaki as a 'new bike' and didnt let them get away with a higher rev limit. They have been pushing the limits of the rules for years. It would be good for Verwood's Crescent team win the Team title this year, they have had a slow and steady rise over the years. Thats assuming Toprac & Locatelli do well in the remaining races and thats not a given. I wonder if they will penalise Yamaha next year, although there are specific rules on performance. Too early to start thinking of next season though.

If Toprak turns out to not be good enough at Motogp level then he can always drop back. Look at AEsp. Kicking around for years at back but finally got a podium bike.

Good circuit, but strings the riders out. Oops Otis. Top charge though.

Redding must be pissed. At least 2nd place down the road there.
Think Rea is done.

Just 20 WSS riders have gone. Last round there was 33. I heard yesterday that there is a European sub series in WSS, so they (6) didnt bother going. Including my FRR rider Caricasulo

Good race 2. Whatever they did to Toprac's bike didnt work. That will set the Turks off again on the Pata Team's FB page 30 points ahead. 62 for 3 wins. 3 4th places will be enough for Toprac, 13 + 6 + 13 = 32. If they are tied on points, I think Toprac wins on count back.

Yep, some great scraps there….Toprak has enough of a buffer to take the title as long as he doesn’t dnf. This Bassani kid is a bit handy too…I didn’t realise he’d been in M2…albeit for a very short time.

Bassani deserves Rinaldi's place. I reckon Bautista will do fuck all next year so Ducati may have a spot.
Good race by Redding but it's annoying the bike let him down with TC problems in Race 1.

Brilliant racing in Race 2, mainly by Toprak, but Rea made soem excellent saves and seeing Reading playing the "rough tactics" game was a refreshing change.
Davies is looking decidedly retired.
