as the weather turns and it gets darker, a lot of the stuff i enjoy doing either reduces or stops completely. i'm thinking of doing a tamiya model kit. never done one before and i reckon it'd be an interesting and relaxing way to kill some spare time. anyone ever made one? i'd probably keep it to bikes. specifically racers. i can't see myself making a sopwith camel or a fucking panzer but you never know.
anyone thinking of starting something new this winter or rekindling an old interest?

I'll get back into SIM racing , cycling and getting nagged to do DIY. I did some SIM racing this week and got battered. I was winning in a 32 car field before summer.
May get back into photography as the short days mean nice long shadows in the day.
Gaming is an option but modern games are so may build another arcade machine .

Suspension swap on rc390. Decent shock in rear. Head bearings.
Suspension fettling front and rear with SV. New rear and emulators and linear springs in front. Wheel bearings.

When i was a kid i used to make air fix kits up, one time i made the Bismarck then decided next to make the Tirpitz, bought the box home , looked inside and thought this is another Bismarck but with the Tirpitz nameplate so took it back to Doggarts ( remember them ) and said i think this is wrong its got Bismarck inside a Tirpitz box. I must have exchanged around three then gave up, it was only years later i found out they were sister ships ie identical, what a thick cunt . I still look in model kit shops and wonder about starting it up again, but the bikes dont do it for me. |

Model kits are awesome. Used to be able to buy them down the village postoffice and make a battleship for £2.
Sad cunt confession. I used to paint those RPG miniatures. And I bought White Dwarf magazine. I couldn't care less for playing the games I just like painting figures and the artwork in the mags. They were fucking expensive because they were lead. Now they are fucking expensive for no obvious reason as they're fucking plastic!!!

Getting back into 3d printing while waiting for the snow and for my foot to heal. Broke some bones in my foot skateboarding 3 weeks ago
Going try and get the Mini finished.
