One of my favourite tracks in France; undulating and technical, with a great mix of corners.
JR always goes well here, so I'm expecting him to re-establish his lead in the championship.

Hopefully double DNF for him and Rea and Redding wins.
I reckon Gerloff will be a problem this round. I wonder if he has Yamaha orders as such?

Isn't Gerloff a problem in every round? That's what I like about him!

Tom Sykes is a salty bastard. The BMW IS ALL HIS WORK! Redding will do shit on it blah blah.
Baldy.

Jnr 33&1/3 superstock was a good race. Booth-Amos 2nd with a wiggle and a giggle.
Buis on Sofuoglu - Mad attempt by Buis or was Sofuoglu slow into that corner? Buis was a long way behind Sofuoglu but he didnt seem faster into the corner than those behind him. Not sure about that one.

Both Toprac and Locatelli on the upwards charge. Toprac's pass on Rea as another hard but fair pass, showed Rea just enough of the front wheel. Redding just couldn't keep the bike turned tight. JT defending Redding saying it was his first time at the track in the dry as it was wet last year, but WSBK rookie Locatelli was 3rd. He won a WSS race last year and a DNF so has been to the track, but on a 600.

I'd never watched a SSP300 race before, but that was a good one to start with! Booth-Amos did well to hang on for second, literally. I reckon Buis took an odd line, Sofuoglu having the more conventional line and the speed difference looked amplified. Buis' fault in my book. Toprak is looking very comfortable on that Yamaha. Is he now the favourite?

Redding didn't seem to able to get drive. When he was behind sykes you could see it took a long to start firing out of corners. Whitham seems to think it's got a small window of operation.

Not the prediction of the year but unlike Mekon i want him to win the title. Guys a fucking revelation this year and is the only guy who seems to rattle Rea. His interviews always involve the word fight which is basically what he does for the opening laps every race.

Yeah, I hope Toprac takes the title as well. Needs to stop doing those stoppies over the line though, Toptit if it goes wrong.
I bet Paul Denning has said something since, maybe a quiet little word. The team took the plunge to go to WSB and its been a slow steady climb to the top. I think for the first they will be leading the team championship now, they were 18 points behind the Kwack team after Navarra.

Yep, Denning had a word, no stoppie there . What a race though, trading lap records. Rea's pass there on the last lap I've not seen before, where they both stayed on track anyway. You just knew Toprac would have a go back.

Toprak stripped of his Superpole victory for exceeding track limits on the last lap.

Good race. Pity Redding didn't have ultimate pace.
Good 300 race as well. Moto3 for poor people
