Sykes is currently scoring twice as many points this year than last year. 1 non points score this year so far, in 7 meetings. Last year he had 7 from 8 meetings. Cant remember Sykes' issues last year, were they mechanicals or crashes. Either way, the bike seems better this year on points scored.

Well, the BMW team dont seem to agree with Toseland's view on Redding joining the team

I didnt expect Redding to win that one like that, he rode a blinder. The Yamahas looked good throughout FP but couldn't match the pace.

Good ride by Redding. Still think Rea and Toprak need a DNF to really spice things up.
The racing is still pretty shit though. After a few laps it's clearly obvious who will be on the podium. The rest of the field are a long way behind.

Does anyone know what Toseland alluded to when he mentioned "backstabbing in the paddock"

As mentioned, the odd DNF from Rea or Toprak and Redding is right back in it….be a bit ironic if he goes on to win the title on the Ducati before leaving for BMW.

Does anyone know what Toseland alluded to when he mentioned "backstabbing in the paddock" He spent 1/2 his commentary going on about Redding's move to BMW, his own experience of Ducati (and Dovi's), Sykes and vd Mark on the BMW. He didnt like the BMW's team response on Twitter, so maybe that.

600SSP Race 1 was brilliant, but it's a pity that it has turned into the R6 Cup!

600SSP Race 1 was brilliant, but it's a pity that it has turned into the R6 Cup! Yeah, its exciting even though the bikes are dying out. Sounds like big changes coming along soon. Larger cc v-twins, Triumph 765 (or whatever it is) triples.

Rea on the edge, nearly crashes twice, and was 3rd. This is more like it. Good pace from Toprac in that race, I was expecting that in the other races here. Equal 1st now, 7 of 13 done. A good weekend from Redding as well. Locatelli now firmly Mr Forth.

Maybe JT took the comments badly. He mentioned more than once his 25 years of experience is doing the talking. Fairly certain Shaun Muir Racing has been in racing since 2002, so he isnt a novice. Is JT still manager of that WSS team? Webb left the team, but I cant find any info on whether JT is still there. I guess not as he is commentating. JT doesnt seem happy that Sykes is losing his ride to Redding and vd Mark is staying. He kept mentioning that Sykes has beaten VDM more times, but there arent many points between them. VDM is in his first season on the BMW, 7 meetings now and not as much testing as in the past. Sykes is in his 3rd season on the BMW. JT didnt mention that. JT makes some good points, but he also is a bit off on others.
