Hopefully this sub forum will will be used infrequently.
I have only edited one post (ignoring fudged quotes and video posts) in all the years someone decided I was a suitable mod/admin. That was on a previous platform; someone posted a picture of the former 'owner'. I got the tension, but it crossed the line for me.
Toxic waste will be dumped in here. Once here, it will only be edited on legal grounds - possibly made up but who cares. Crack on.

My view on this is its a waste of time. We had something similar on a previous forum (The Rubber Room?). Anyone wanting access had to ask for the password. I didn't bother. Threads which went toxic were dumped there. Some people took it as it was ok to turn to abuse and derail threads as it was catered for on the forum. We ended up with circular arguments and too many decent threads being lost to it. It only improved when the people responsible for the nasty stuff stopped posting and has only started again recently. As Droog mentioned its non biking stuff like politics which is causing the friction. Maybe we should just stop posting about that, plus religion and sexual orientation*. We are now blessed with Facebook and Twitter if people want to let stream off and vent some anger on people of opposing views.
* Edit. Although it should be possible to have discussions on those subjects without having to resort to nasty stuff.

Liked for naming this pit of despair after a gang of posh ultra-twats.

A bit like some weird flasher hanging about parks.
