Whilst Trump is undoubtedly an egotistical idiot,questions have to be asked about China’s initial response to the virus...which was to deny and cover up...I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised given that it’s a hardline Communist state. Also the American MSM whom, NY Times, CNN,, Washington Post et al, were telling us in February that this wasn’t a big deal.....that banning flights from China was racist(get out the race card). They’ve now done a complete 180 u turn. There’s a lot of hypocrisy and double standards there.

Its an easy mistake to make if you don't take the time the check basic facts like names of things and how they are derived. MERS was initially called Novel Coronavirus 2012, because it was the new one discovered in 2012. I'd like to have a wild stab in the dark that they named this on 19 because it was discovered in 2019 (only just, so nearly 2020). You really have to wonder just who is still supporting him at this stage apart from white supremacists, far right gun nuts and evangelical "Christians". The police are clearly out of control and look like they think they can literally get away with murder. And calling up the weekend warrior national guard to strong arm protesters is a move of idiocy. Is anyone really surprised at any of this? |

Trump is a symptom of a broken political system....Joe “nothing will fundamentally change” Biden won’t change anything, that’s if he remembers where he is or what day it is. Why, after 8 years of Obama, did Trump manage to get elected?...Because Obama failed and the other option was Hillary, who is a corrupt as they come so what did people have to lose? September 2013 I visited Timisoara in Romania on a bike tour. I was wandering about the city and noticed several bronze statues scattered around the place. Nothing grand and showy, some looked a bit odd. They're a bit odd, I thought. It was a bit cloudy in the morning so I thought I'd have a quick look around the museum of the revolution. Basically the evil Presidente in 1989 got a bit uppity with some people, the people got a bit annoyed and demonstrated, tired of living under his way of government. So he sent in the troops. They crowds didn't disperse, so he ordered them to open fire. 97 killed, murdered in cold blood. There was an old man on the door, about 70 I guess. Entry was free, but he said I could leave a donation if I wanted, at the end. BTW, he spoke decent English. He gave me a tour of the ground floor, upstairs was being done up, but I was free to have a look around. 1st off was the chapel which they had nearly finished, I could have a prayer there if I wanted. I think the older Romanians are quite religious. He then went through what happened, showed me around the rooms on the ground floor. One room was full of small versions of the bronze statues scattered around the city. Each one was put there at a spot where someone had been killed. He showed me each statue, telling me the meaning behind each one. It was quite emotional to hear him speak. He said the bit of wall outside with graffiti was from Berlin. As I left I put about 50 Lei, £10, in the box, which he thanked me for. He gave me a map showing where the statues were in the city. Then he said in his softly spoken way 'I see you have a coat, I think you will need it as it is raining'. I only mention it as I've seen the news tonight.    |

By any reasonable assessment, all these groups would be correctly labelled as extremists but collectively they represent a terrifyingly large percentage of American society. I do believe that many people who voted for him will not do so in November but I also believe that he will have unwavering support among these 'extreme' groups. Once again, the Democrats have selected a poor opponent to run against him but Trump will beat himself this time. |

What is it with the Democrats and their talent pool? It's like fucking MotoAmerica... I think that there is plenty of talent there, Andrew Cuomo for one, the problem (in my opinion) is the system. One of the reasons Trump got elected was that Americans were sick of the political establishment. The same tired old faces. But in order to run for president you have to raise an extraordinary amount of money. Hundreds of $millions. And to do this you really need to be an established figure or 'tired old face'. How many people fell out of the Democrat primaries because they couldn't compete financially? Pretty much all of them until it came down to Biden and Sanders. It was the same issue 4 years ago leading to Hillary Clinton being the candidate. The difference this time is that a lot of Americans would vote for Charles fucking Manson over Donald Trump because they are sick of the chaos and carnage he generates. The 'successful businessman' mask has well and truly slipped and all they see is a petty man full of hatred and vengeance. It will be interesting to see just how big his extremist base still is come November. We could all be in for more shocks yet. |
