We really need a decent Democratic ticket but I fear that they will go so far to the left (as in Sanders) that the middle will push right. .it always makes me chuckle when Americans describe Sanders as too far Left!.. The problem the Dems have is that they’ve wasted 3 years on Russiagate and now the impeachment in their obsession with Trump. Look at the top Democrat candidates...Biden?...bought and paid for corrupt liar literally re-inventing stories about his past as he goes along, stuff he’s been called out on and acknowledged previously!!. If he’s nominated I’m sure more shit about him will come out and Trump will have a field day. Warren?...another serial liar playing the identity politics card and happy to smear Sanders on live tv.... Although she has no chance, Tulsi Gabbard has impressed me but the Dems hate her because she’s anti-war and because she goes on Fox News. But shouldn’t politicians be trying to connect with disillusioned voters who went for Trump?....Biden tells anyone who dares question him to go vote for Trump..great, nice one Joe.!! The DNC (aka Hillary Clinton & co) are doing all they can to disrupt and smear Sanders because they see their preferred candidates (Biden and Warren) slipping in the polls.. To quote a certain US comedian...”Trump is a symptom of a larger problem”. Sanders/Gabbard Would get my vote.

I was talking with an extremely intelligent friend of mine who tells me that he feels that Sanders is our only hope. I bow to him, I know no one who can match this guy in deep thinking.
Lived in Delaware for 20 years, Biden was my senator. To call him an opportunistic piece of crap is too kind.

The thing is elnoodle the reasonable as you know it is not just an american event. Farage and Johnson have nearly as poor statesmanlike qualities and keep getting away with things. If you haven't seen Idiocracy, look for it. Storyline is a bit flakey but the idea behind it is sound.

If you haven't seen Idiocracy, look for it. Storyline is a bit flakey but the idea behind it is sound. Well exactly Eddie. I'm utterly dismayed everywhere I look right now and it does now feel like Idiocracy was a public information documentary. I don't know what the solution is. Farage is a grifter who has conned a lot of stupid people out of their money but the media (particularly the BBC) enable and feed him by giving him exposure he doesn't deserve. Can anyone even name another MEP apart from him or his vile little sidekicks? He has zero political relevance yet is everywhere. It's the same in Scotland when they Jump to Ruth Davidson for comments. She leads a party with fuck all support so why give her air time? Johnson is slightly different. He isn't as stupid as he looks but he's lazy as fuck and has exploited public feeling to worm his way into Downing street. Looking at the images of stupid cunts on Friday dressed in Union Jacks and singing Vera fucking Lynn songs you can see the barrel of single digit IQs he's scraping for support. Taking back control indeed. Even in Scotland where it appears that there's still a whiff of political common sense there are some sinister right wing unionist groups and we still can't wash off the stench of sectarianism. So aye, in the middle of such dismal domestic dumbfuckery I don't think it's too surprising if we look across the Atlantic and go "look at those daft cunts..."

Start of meltdown yesterday. What would he be like under real pressure, in a war. Press the red button, the big red button, its a glorious bike red button, I will press the glorious big red button like no other president before. At least our senseless idiot caught the virus, recovered, and might show some compassion for the NHS with future wage rises and conditions. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-52276004

At least our senseless idiot caught the virus, recovered, and might show some compassion for the NHS with future wage rises and conditions. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-52276004I watched this last night with my jaw on the floor. His propaganda video stunned everyone in the room. Fair play to Paula Reid of CBS who tore into him. Worth noting that it was only the female reporters in the room that asked him the hard questions and continued to ask them as he lied and snaked his way around them then, inevitably, threw insults at them. I was willing her to read out how many days in February he spent on the golf course and how many vanity rallies he held. Also noteworthy is that at every single one of these press conferences he has spaffed on about how perfect his response has been (conveniently ignoring that America with about 4% of the world's population now has around a quarter of global covid-19 cases) he has not once offered any condolences to the families of the dead (23k and counting).

He is blaming the WHO now, and is going to cut off funding. If the USA secret service can tap Merkel's phone I'm sure they were aware of what was going on in China. Why is he blaming the WHO? To take the attention away from himself. With something like this virus, there are going to be mistakes made by an countries' government. Nobody will be perfect.

Why is he blaming the WHO? To take the attention away from himself. That's exactly the reason. America has now entered a very dangerous scenario. Trump's sole concern is to absolve himself of any responsibility for this crisis and he doesn't give a fresh fuck about the consequences of his actions now as long as he can throw shit at someone else and hope it sticks. WHO got some information wrong at the start? Well that's what happens with new diseases and as they learn more, the information they give out improves. Trump was briefed in January and played it down. He's now denying saying things that are on record. He'll tie himself up in his own lies, keep having these press briefings because he genuinely thinks he's smarter than every other cunt and he'll be in a massive fucking rage after each one as the questions continue to shine a light on his litany of clusterfucks.

He (or more likely his advisors) is a clever cunt.
They know full well that the people that hate him will always hate him, no point trying to get them to change their views.
But, those that support him (still an alarming number of people) will also likely not change and rallying them up with some good ole propaganda and "enemy bashing" is going to do him the world of good within his support groups.
I saw something somewhere that Trump was struggling with Corona Virus because it is a faceless enemy, it can't be insulted like a president or religion can, it is a kind of enemy that he and his sort are not used to. He needed a group of people to represent the enemy like the orange suited muslims in Guantanamo.
And there it is, the WHO. His new enemy.
There will be collectives in the deep souuth burning effigies of WHO chair Tedros Adhanom as we speak, (added plus being his foreign name and dark skin of course).

Agree with a lot of that ClipClop except your assertion that he's a clever cunt. I also doubt that he has a traditional team of advisors. He surrounds himself with family members and sycophants. I doubt anyone is telling him shit he doesn't want to hear. I expect Dr Fauci to be next for the chop if his pesky science gets in the way of Trump's egotistical ambitions to reopen the economy regardless of the cost to life.

I get where you are coming from, but he is clever in the way that he surrounds himself with people clever enough for him to get away with a lot of shit. Look how "clever" he was at running businesses into the ground at the expense of workers and suppliers while he walked away, reapeatedly, with millions of dollars, hiding behind bankruptcy laws. Like it or not, that's clever.
