I think we are long overdue a couple of brand new circuits being built but I can't see it happening in this modern climate where motor sport is frowned upon. The UK is stuck in the 1960s. Actually, going backwards with circuits being restricted due to noise. Now WSBK at Donington has just Superbikes, no WSS or STK330. WTF is going on? There were hopes of the track in South Wales but nobody would underwrite the costs. The one in NI went quiet as well. Looking it up there were doubts about it being built above old coal mines and subsidence worries and the cost to prevent that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Torrent

The Welsh thing was just a pocket-liner for those cunts pretending it would create some jobs. You could see it was bullshit a mile off as soon as they started claiming 750k people would go every year. Fuck right off. Even the fabled 'Ring' only attracts 2m and that's races and everything else and the place is pretty much open all the time.
£10m of public money down the drain but at least the cunt in charge got his £35k of gardening paid for.

You had Rockinham built and inaugurated this millenium and you've turned it into a fucking carpark already!

So much for the Japanese. Both have taken a beating at the hands of British circuits already. I'm guessing the standard of their national championship isn't what it used to be.

Some people like to focus on the negative but I've got to say that Jason O'Halloran rode brilliantly all weekend.

He's been very unlucky in the past. Sometimes wondered if Niall Mac had been in thr garage after hours or paying people to take him out.
