I'd putting Rea the top of the pile for obvious reasons. Years left in WSB? I'd guess he's going to do a Rossi.
Redding is 2nd talent and think he'll win a title if he stays there. Plenty of years left
Davies, probably 3rd but I think his only hope of not becoming a journeyman is another factory ride on something other than a Ducati. He needs to poach a ride.
Lowes.....not sure about this dude. Seems to be unable to figure out how to be consistently fast. Don't think Kawasaki will want to keep him unless Rea wants him as a wingman. Think he'll end up on satellite rides or BSB.
Sykes and Laverty. Think Sykes is the better of the two but seems unable to get the best race pace. Probably safe for another couple of years. Laverty however must be in the last chance saloon. Not sure what he brings apart from repair bills at this stage.

Can't argue with that assessment except i would add Haslam and say he will see out his contract and retreat to BSB

Forgot about Haslam. He is a 'grafter'. I was watching the 2010 season and he better than I remembered. Weird how I rate him above Sykes but Sykes won a world title.

A long, long time ago, in a world so far away from modern times, Haslam rode a season on a Honda 500cc v twin 2-stroke. 2001, finished 19th.
How long do they have left? I think it depends upon who comes along to replace them. Locatelli won WSS in convincing fashion last year and is now 10th in the championship, consistent top 10 finisher (in the full length races anyway).
In WSS, Aegerter (31) is leading, but although has a long history in racing hasn't done much apart from 2 5th places in Moto2 championship. I'm discounting MotoE 2nds. Ottl and Odendaal are both ex Moto3 / Moto2 not featured at the top but are decent WSS riders. I guess that indicates the level of WSS. Locatelli was the same previously. The home grown ex WSS300 and ex Italian domestic racers of Gonzalez and Bernardi might be the next WSBK riders.
Caricasulo was 14th last year, Cortese 12th in his 1st WSBK season, so they didnt set the world alight as ex WSS riders. Cortese was a consistent finisher, didnt crash too much, best result was a 6th, but then got injured early on last year.
From BSB, Tarran MacKenzie (25) is still young enough, but if he cant win BSB?
Edit. I was using Locatelli as a measure of how good WSS champions are. I think he is good and has a factory ride, but others in the past have been so so.

How long they have left might depend on their respective teams more than anything. Ducati will drop Scott if he doesn't win a championship a lot sooner (maybe after two years even?) than BMW will drop Sykes (who looks set for a 4 year stint) for example.
Scott would almost surely get another ride, but would it be as competitive as the Factory Ducati gig? Unlikely.

I'd like to see Kawasaki take him

I just wrote out a long detailed post on all six of our WSB riders. Accidentally swiped back on my mouse as I was about to post and it is all lost in the ether. Fucked if I'm typing that lot out again.
In a nutshell:
1. Rea will retire from the sport but probably has another two years left in him if he is still able to win races at WSB. Soon as he is unable to win regularly, he will retire.
2. Redding will stay in WSB, maybe move to Honda if he doesn't win the title for Ducati this year. Probably go to MotoAmerica when his WSB days are over. 3. A Lowes will remain in WSB until he can't find a decent ride before dropping back to a domestic series and then some world endurance racing. Be racing well into his forties as he loves it. 4. Sykes will probably have one more season in WSB before a move to BSB with PBM Ducati. 5. Haslam will remain in WSB in 2022 if he is offered a decent satellite ride but he will most likely drop back to domestic level before embarking on a career in world endurance. Might even go straight to world endurance and skip domestic superbikes altogether. 6. Eugene will be out of WSB next year and probably go to MotoAmerica for a season or two. Another one who might end up at PBM Ducati in BSB though.

Just noticed I completely forgot about Davies! I see Davies out after this year. Back to America most likely destination for him.

Actually these dudes going to Moto America would be good for Moto America. When you've guys like Bobby Fong as a top rider they need some real yardsticks to show if they are really getting quality riders through or not.

What sort of dough can they expect to earn in Moto 'Murca?.....is it big bucks top up the pension dough, or less than they would be earning in WSB?

Less than a factory team or a satellite team by some way. The attraction is the level is lower to run at the front and by all accounts it's a good way to explore America on an extended holiday that doesn't cost you anything. They love a win bonus out there. You'd probably earn the same in BSB but you'd have more fun out there.

I seem to remember Neil Hodgson got some bleached teeth out of it.
