Yes, another race so soon. I'd forgotten.
Last year Rea didnt make the podium. Toprak had a win in R1 & SP race, Davies won R2.
I cant see Rea being an absentee this year.
Locatelli won R1, Mahias the 2nd. Odendaal is in Locatelli's team this year and the bike still looks a cut above the others again.
Weather looks solid sunshine and 23c.

Rea will bum them all this year. Redding will probably go rubbish, ok, podium. Lowes and Davies will crash. We will wonder why Laverty still races and Baustista will ride lairy and blame the electronics.

Have Sunday's races moved from Eurosport to another channel? Giro d'Itlaia appears to have taken over and I can't find anything on Quest.

Looking through the VM schedule, its French Open Grunting on ES1 & 2 followed by the lycra clad water bottle litterers later. I presume because the Estoril WSBK was a late change to the calendar the deals to show the other stuff had already been done. Either that or Whitham & co had already booked their B&B in Skegness months ago and weren't changing their plans and told them not to bother.

It's on the Eurosport player. Even then it doesn't show up on the live schedule, you have to search via sport and then superbikes. I watched FP1 live earlier and FP2 is live at 14:55.

Toprak was uncharacteristically cautious. I thought he'd have a pop at Scott, Rea at least made some attempts, but the only overtaking of any importace was Gerlof.
Not great race. Good for Scott though.

I thought is was shaping up to be a bun fight towards the end with Redding, Toprak & Rea but nothing really happened. Gerloff's pass on Rinaldi was eye popping.
WSS was excellent. Top 5 within 1.nothingatall seconds. Odendaal's 3 wins have been more exciting than Locatelli's of last year.

No spoilers but race 2 was a lot better and race 3 was incident packed. That’s all 😄

Since Eurosport decided to overrun tennis and cycling it didn't record. I finally saw a bit of it and Gerloff is turning into a danger man. Rea with luck of the Irish again there.

Did anyone else think Redding also jumped the start in R3? Toprak certainly did and perhaps triggered Redding to go. In perc ferme Rea said Redding got an amazing start. After 100m he was way ahead. Looking like another Rea title is on the cards, its not as close as last year. After 2 rounds last year Redding had a 24 point lead, now Rea has a 35 point lead.
