Anyone else pissed off with the little nerd bastard for screwing around with the Bitcoin price via his confidence shaking tweets. He has definitely manipulated the market.

Don't hold crypto but wish I'd bought in when I first thought about it a 3k.
It's a bit of a pyramid scheme and I'm sure governments will fuck it at some point.

He must be making millions via a few selective twitter tweets. It just shows what a pile of shit the concept is.
There was a story of a Welsh bloke who had his 'wallet' on a laptop which broke and he chucked it out. The bitcoins at the time were worth a bit, but now there is £100m lying in a landfill somewhere and he wants to go digging. The council wont let him.

Blockchain technology is the future and there are quite a few crypto currencies available now. They are excellent for buying drugs online and my mate at work has this very much nailed down.
As you say, it's easily manipulated by powerful people but surely cash is now history. Having said that, I saw some excellent £20 forgeries at the weekend. New unfakeable plastic ones too. Just in time for them being phased out.

There was a massive ransomware attack on the health service IT system over here. Basically whole system is f**ed at the moment. Perps wanted payment in Bitcoin, even the Nazi gold cheese munchers cant cut it. All the crims go crypto these days.

Elon Musk has bought Twitter for shitloads of money and its only broke even a couple of years. First task was sack a lot of staff to reduce costs. Seems he might have sacked IT programmers on the basis of those who wrote the least amount lines of of code first. I've dealt with managers who know as much about coding as Musk, and it wasnt a good experience. How long will it survive? Crypto: Unregulated and unprotected. A bank account has £85,000 guaranteed by the BoE. I've never bothered with it. How long will it survive? www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-63601213

The twitter thing is quite perplexing. What was it, $44bn or something and he seems intent on destroying it? How the utter fuck can a website sell for that kind of money?

£9.96 a month to get your FB 'verified'. www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-64697560The subscription would give paying users a blue badge, increased visibility of their posts, protection from impersonators and easier access to customer service, Meta said in a post on their website. So without paying, they will stop posting your posts in your friend's feeds, still do fuck all against hacking, still give fuck all customer service. Musk must really be regretting his recent purchase and trying to re-coup money. Why a blue badge? In the UK thats what disabled people get to put in their cars to park anywhere FOC. Massive fraud going on with that. I suppose he only needs 1% of people to sign up for this scam to make money.

Musk took a financial L to open a nice can of worms. Basically Twitter was just being used as a totally biased form of social engineering and quite happily took requests from government and big business to stifle anything they didn't like. I salute Musk for taking the hit. Hilarious that Noodle used to post that Twitter was right leaning when all the right leaning accounts were being actively supressed.

Musk has gone from "Man of the Year" in 2021 to a pariah because he's challenged the duopoly and exposed corruption and collusion between Government, CIA, Military and Big Tech. They're pissed so they go on a smear offensive.
wrt Twitter bias, 95% of the employees were Democrats and Democrat donors, although both parties tried to suppress certain posts but the vast majority were from the DNC.
They're still suppressing on YT wrt COVID vaccines and masks despite everything that has transpired about how we were all lied to about the vaccine effectiveness/transmission and masking up. The W.H.O went against their own policy which was that masks were basically useless, but they along with the likes of Fauci and Co were politicized so that pharma could push the vaccine. Any dissent from the narrative and you were smeared as anti-vax, far-right, extremist, racist, Nazi etc etc..the standard playbook of insults. I think it's great that Musk is dumping the Twitter files because it validates a lot of what was suspected. Don't expect any contrition from the Covidians though, for them the pandemic will never end.

Well Bill Farmland Gates has already said it's all about the NEXT pandemic now. Not so sure how that will play out if they can't suppress one of the main information channels. Monkeypox was useless as it only affected people with penises that find their way into mainly male bottoms. The other thing in Africa at the moment is also similarly useless as it's a bodily fluids job.
I just think it's best to skeptical about everything as nobody does anything for the common good these days. I doubt Musk is doing this utterly for the sake of free speech and he's probably got something else in the loop.
What I can't figure out is, FORGETTING THE ELECTRIC PART, apart from great acceleration, why anyone would buy a Tesla? They are BLAND. If Ford or Audi had come out with that body shape with a petrol engine it would be mocked. They don't even handle that well either. Ok, they handle well enough but not great, seen plenty of videos where they aren't close to hanging with fast BMWs etc through the corners.

They're still suppressing on YT wrt COVID vaccines and masks despite everything that has transpired about how we were all lied to about the vaccine effectiveness/transmission and masking up. I dont think I read or heard anything about masks claimed they would stop transmission outright, but cut down the possibility of passing the virus on. Even a 10% reduction is a lot. As in the virus thread - The vaccine saved lots of lives. Mostly older people, people with other illnesses. Then there is long covid. A lot of younger people died as well. Having a jab cut down the risk of serious illness. So that worked. Far more people died of covid than any side affect. Where it didnt perform as well as hoped was stopping people being infected and passing it on. Other than certain willy waving MPs claiming how they saved the nation and claiming what a good job they had done, I dont think we were lied to, they (scientists) just didnt know for sure.
