Brave face of modern family-man or pussy-whipped ?
To me it's a bit like that mate you used to have who met a new woman and then you never saw him again until his life had taken a turn for the worse. She just seems like a total attention seeker. One minute it's leave us alone and then please look at me.

No idea regarding them as I just don't follow any royal coverage but as for friends who met a girl and then just disappeared out of your life, I've known a few. Happened a couple of times over the years with friends who I considered almost family. They gradually disappear from your life and stop all communication after meeting someone. A few years later they get in touch out of the blue and it soon becomes apparent that they have been dumped and are now single again. First time it happened I let it slide. But as you get older and wiser and spot this pattern happening you get a bit more ruthless. Last time it happened to me was about seven years ago. I just ignored their attempts at reconciliation. Ironically I now live about five minutes away from that friend in particular. I don't want to be friends with someone who is only around or in touch because it suits their needs at that particular point in their life. I might add it wasn't just me they did it to but the rest or our close group of friends who have known each other since we were kids.

This lad I new from the teenage/early 20s years had a similar story with a tragic end. He was always the sort of dude that would get taken advantage of and did. First time was when he got used for a green card and was basically put under house arrest by this woman. Anyway, that finally ended and he left for America and got a decent job but....met similar women.
Cut out loads of drama and he ended himself. Weird how some people make the same mistakes with people over and over again.

Some people are strange. I've always been happier in life when I'm single. I have friends who are married that are equally as happy. I find it odd when people hook up and then proceed to ditch everyone they know beforehand. Nothing good ever comes of that.

He is definitely “under the influence” of Ms Markle. Still, I don’t get the whole “we are harassed” by the UK press reason for moving to LA, signing a multi-million dollar Spotify contract and , apparently, getting a slot on Oprah......hypocrisy, moi?.....
He’s playing the victim role quite well.

The tabloid UK press treated Megan Markle like shit. I think they moved away from the tabloid UK press, not all media as they need that for their charity work. They have made mistakes, the Royal Family have made mistakes, the tabloid UK press is trash. Its a sad tale and could have been avoided, but the trash UK tabloid press just want to sell papers. Maybe they dont like women marrying into the Royal Family who aren't upperclass aristocracy. Funniest thing about this whole affair is news today that the weatherman Alex Beresford on Good Morning Britain had a go at Piers Morgan saying he keeps trashing Megan all the time, he had a decent working relationship for a while but then she blanked him. She hasn't bad mouthed him in the press since, but he is all over her when she doesn't have a comeback. Piers Morgan stormed off the show he hosts, he couldn't take the criticism  Christ, he dishes it out big time on guests he doesn't like but stormed off like a 10 year old spoilt brat when the tables are turned. |

The sweetly pretty married to the bald one can do no wrong, yet the American wife of the ginger one gets pelters for doing the same things. The UK is a strange thing but it also is more nuanced that somewhere like america where they don't get sarcasm and take everything literally. I go on a couple of American forums and it's no wonder the cunts can't stop going to war. You can spot brit posters straight away and i would say it's only about 20% of yanks that are able to read around comments.
