With this being the third lockdown are you cats managing to stay on top of your fitness, or have 9 months of restrictions followed by Christmas finally put the kybosh on the home training? And before anyone asks if the odd crafty hand shandy constitutes training, well that depends on the ferocity of said J-Arthur.

Milking on a regular basis these past few months. Fitness level is appalling. I'm over 14 stone with a huge beer gut. I could die of being unfit before covid gets me.

Lockdown 1 and furlough allowed me to run 2 - 3 times per week, as well taking the boys for walks in the local country park. I managed to do this even with home schooling the kids. Then I was made redundant and all of my time and energy during the summer holidays went into finding another job. I haven't gone for a run since September, but I do go for a brisk walk most lunchtimes when at work. During the winter months, I'd normally go a gym for a good warm up, stretch and a 5km run, but...

I'm fucked.
My rides were stuffed by regular punctures. Then I decided to enjoy crimbo. I had an old injury flare up. I missed a few days basic exercise. Basically most of the weight lost has returned and I feel well unfit.
Hopefully the lighter mornings will help me get back in to it and I can get back to my August(ish) peak again before too long.

We're not back in lockdown (yet) but it will come, but I hope this time we will be allowed out to exercise like you cunts are. My cycling has been knocked on the head by the snow storm. By Saturday lunch time there was half a meter of snow everywhere, then half of the trees gave way under the load, fallen trees and crushed cars everywhere. I took a walk out today and it is utter carnage, ice sheets 25cms thick on a lot of our neighborhood roads, still fallen trees and branches everywhere. I live a few kms away from a small airfield and last night the recorded the lowest temperature ever recorded in the Madrid municipality, -13 Celsius. This isn't going to b sorted out soon, so I'm fucked for riding for a while.

I used to go swimming twice a week, walked 3 miles to the pool and back, then windsurfing whenever it was windy, 80-120 sessions a year depending on the weather. CV19 lockdowns stopped that. In lockdown 1 I started doing a daily workout following this pair 4 pint milk containers and 1kg bags of rice for hand weights, but since then I've bought some dumbbells. The videos are free (sometimes with annoying ads in the middle but hay-ho), but I bunged them $9.99 for a monthly planner downloadable to a PDF. They have loads of videos available on their channel.
There is nothing too strenuous and doesn't take long but it kept me ticking over. 1st windsurf session after lockdown 1 I didnt ache at all the next day. I got my cycle on the road again and use that for more cardio, but since its been freezing knocked that on the head. After lockdown I kept the home training up if I didnt windsurf. It helps a lot with core fitness which is actually good for my back. Sometimes it feels like the same old stuff and not very inspiring but if I get it out the way as soon as I get up or have had breakfast it gets routine.

I went banzai on the unhealthy food over Christmas, scoffing 72 bags of Wotsits in a two week window and having utterly no control over the biscuit and chocolate intake. I'm surprised I haven't coughed up a solid lump of orange flavouring like a furball, or suffered respiratory failure due to inhalation of Wotsit dust.
However I do feel uber sluggish, but I reckon that is standard post Chrimbo detox. Having said that I have managed to get back into a rough routine of training around 3 to 4 times a week, either running (including hill sprints) or a home routine that's a bit hideous (I can't bring myself to do any online classes, there's nothing wrong with them, it's just me being a grumpy get). I base my training around Catholicism, in that I am a sinner and should be punished (I don't chase a choirboy around the back yard like Rocky trying to catch a chicken).

I started walking a lot from the start and doing body squats, pushups & lunges regularly. I eventually managed to get a pair of adjustable dumb-bells (took ages to get them as everyone was buying workout equipment). Each dumbbell is adjustable from 2.5 to 25KG so more than enough weight, easy to store and no need for multiple sets of dumbbells.
I want to get under 90kg which I havent been for about 20 years, I went up to 105 at one point and stayed there for years (I was doing a lot of weights back then and was stronger but still carried too much fat), but over the last 1.5 years I've got down to around 91-92kg.

Beefus by name... It wasn't until I saw my wedding and honeymoon photos in 2007, that I realised how much weight I had put on. Like you, I went up to 105 kg/16.5 st and I had to work like a bastard to get down to 85 kg / 13.5 st. The upside was that instead of buying a black '07 R1 (which I had my eye on), I saved a shit load of money by upgrading my 750 with a new exhaust, air filter and power commander. The result was, with all the weight I had lost, plus binning that OEM dustbin of an exhaust and having 130 bhp at the back wheel with the 750, I had the same combined power to weight as if I'd bought the R1.

i can't do hiit in the kitchen at the minute because my fireblade is in the way! Sweet. Do you spark it up and dry the dishes over the exhaust. Nae baffles for improved drying efficiency. Or even better, dry your clobber over it for that super-het essence d'exhaust.
