I don't think furlough was the best idea given all the old cunts in hospital died anyway. Lot of money down the drain. Could have given it to those poor children.
Less than 12m children in UK. I doubt 4m are in poverty, unless poverty means not having a ps5.

I'm ambivalent about the Royals. There will always be the discussion about what it costs to maintain against what they bring to the economy(approx £2 billion into the UK coffers, £70 - £300 million to maintain, depending on what you read...so probably somewhere in the middle).Then there's the question, do we really need a Monarchy?...does any country?..they're pretty much only a tourist attraction and have been for a long time. The Dutch Royals remain very popular here with a high approval rating, but they are also a lot more relaxed and accessible than most Royals. The shite about tourism income as a justification for a monarchy is pretty weak. It's 2021 for fuck sake, there is no place for cunts being born into a life of grace and privilege, particularly when over 4 million kids are living in poverty in the UK. Here's another thing you may have missed. There was a recent round of bids to lease parts of the UK seabed for future wind farm development and the winning bids were eye-watering. The reason for this is that global oil charged in with astonishing inexperience and blew the rest of us out of the water with bids of up to £200m per year just to secure the site. Given that it generally takes 10 years to develop and build an offshore wind farm, each site will be about £1bn down before they've hammered in a pile. This stupidity will be reflected in future electricity bills. It's relevant here because the fucking crown estate owns the seabed and the Queen will get 25% of this windfall. Also, the fucking outpouring of hate against Harry Windsor and his missus was and is utterly shameful. This is a cunt who served his country and decided to turn his back on the toxic lifestyle that claimed the life of his mother in order to protect his own family. What a fucked up cuntry. Just out of interest Noods, what is your opinion of the Thai Royal family? are they more "justified" than the UK bunch of scroungers? |

BBC received over 100k complaints about the OTT coverage of DoE's death. The most complaints they've ever had. They had to put up a dedicated complaints form on the website then took it down on Sunday.
I've got the queen in my 2021 deadpool so in that respect I'll be delighted if she croaks soon but the North Korean style forced mourning is going to be fucking horrendous.

Best one I saw was the National Rail Enquiries website that was greyed out because a cabbage in human form thought it was "respectful".
It was indeed very hard to read on my PC at home so Gawd only knows what it was like on a smartphone in broad daylight. I could imagine some poor sap struggling in vain to buy a ticket for the train that was just about to leave from Platform 1.
