So what's the general vibe on how Locatelli will do on SBK next year?
I think he will get some podiums and leave a good account of himself.

I don't think he trouble the top boys straight away. Wss isn't what it used to be so it's hard to say. Look at Superglue, poor in moto2 and nowhere in WSB.

Cortese won WSS in 2018, by 23 points, 12th. Caricasulo was 2nd in WSS in 2019 6 points down, 14th. Cluzel was another decent WSS racer who had 1 season in 2013, 10th. Krumanacher had a go in 2017, 16th. We haven't had someone recently who smashed WSS at their 1st attempt and move up. I reckon he will do better than the above mentioned riders. A top 10 at the end of season wouldn't be a bad result. Actually, top 10 would be quite good. |

In recent years, Toprack going from 2nd in STK1000 to WSBK did the best out of the above mentioned riders in his 1st year, 9th.
