Not a race winning haircut. Silly haircuts = bad results

Well that a good gamble for Redding. Much as it favoured him I don't like gamble racing, it doesn't really tell you anything so it was a pretty wank weekend for getting a real picture of what's going on.
Trouble is Rea owns Portimao so that won't be any better.
Good WSS race. Must be a bummer to lead the race for so long and so far out and lose.

Oh great. Oettl down already. Very quickly followed by Caricasulo Fantasy riders bombing out aside, interesting race with mixed conditions and tyres. If Cluzel's team had found the tyre pump he could have won that.

Wss300. Great race. Some proper gamesmanship going on during that last lap.

Redding got the tyre selection right today* and cleared off. Championship mode back on.
Garett Gerloff got giddy gives gargantuan gaff. Good recovery though. Kudos to Rea for his recovery, it would have been easy to lose his rag and blow it.
*race 2 today anyway

WSB needs to think carefully before they delete/create any more classes. Getting rid of Superstock 1000 was a mistake. Turning Supersport into a class for random streetbikes with a myriad of rules to try and make them all put out a similar power to weight ratio is another disaster in the making. Supersport 300, a class for 400cc commuter bikes that has no relevant career path to any other class of world championship racing. The racing is close and a bit unpredictable but that's only because the bikes are so slow.
If things keep going the way they are in the world of sportsbike sales, the whole concept of World Superbikes will become irrelevant. Who wants to see race versions of glorified commuter bikes in various capacities. Not me.

I thought you had to pay and register, but everything was there. The SS300 was epic. Also glad to see Anna up to 5th over the line. Hard as nails.

Also glad to see Anna up to 5th over the line. Hard as nails. Just watched it now and was wondering how she got from 11th to 5th within the last 1/2 lap. A bit of elbow bashing going on after she was pushed onto the green to get back on track. A good ride by TBA.

Missed the bit where TBA got promoted. I'd just fucked off out as soon as it finished to play on my WSS300 bike.

I only watch the big bikes in WSB, maybe I should start wastching the Supersport classes too, but I can't really find the time TBH.
I thought the races were OK TBH. Shame Gerlof's ambition outweighed his talent!
Only Rea can get smacked by a diving faller up the inside and stay on to podium, even Marquez can't match that. Did you lot get the audio from parc ferme? Loved Rea's response to Gerlof when he approeached him and said he was sorry "it was totaly my fault", "Yeah, it was" Ha!
Redding got lucky on the tyres for sure, it must be a concern that at a track supposedly good for Ducati, only a tyre gamble gave them a win. Worse for Redding was how close he was to losing to Davies in Race 1.
BMW looked better, but they really are the Aprilias of WSB aren't they? HRC seem to finding it tough to get to the top though. Is it the riders? Could Rea win the title on a Blade?

Not so sure wss300 is the commuting bike class. Its the forced on you by eurocunts class for kids that want a sport bike.
WSB needs a comedy class for entertainment like the big trailie class.
