Toprak looking fast in FP1 & 3, but was off the pace in FP2 when they were doing longer runs. Was it hotter in FP2? It sure was 48c track, vs 31c & 21c. Sunday is looking cooler.

WSS looking closer this year than last year. New kid on this block Aegerter could do well, a lot of experience.
I found picking a rider for WSS in the competition was the most difficult choice.
One of these I reckon:
Dominique Aegerter Fredrico Caricasulo Jules Cluzel Niki Tuuli Philipp Oettl Randy Krummenacher Steven Odendaal

It was but now they have a much more linear throttle response, it is looking even more impressive.

Thomas Booth-Amos was a bit unlikely with the red flag, towards the end whenever he got overtaken for the lead he quickly nipped back ahead. The different makes now look to be a more equal affair with the weight balancing them out. Its close racing.
In WSBK I see Kawasaki raised the rev limit on their road bike to carry that across to WSB, but Scott Smart didnt fall for that and kept their limit as was.

A good race for 2nd.
100 wins for Rea, on this form he could add 20 more this year.

Pedrosa might have won a title if it wasnt for people taking him out. Same with Cluzel. Loads of laps left for Tuuli to make a pass but just wallops Cluzel. At least Cluzel wasnt injured again.

Aside from the Lowes/Toprak battle towards the end it was dull..so, overall, very dull.

Yawn! Haydon's lost a load of bark over winter. Skinnier than his racing days id say.

He's going for the coke addict lord of the manor look. The one the runs the family estate into ruin after 500 years.

Either that or lockdown has kept him away from the pubs. On some of the awayday BSB rounds like Knockhill he frequently looked like he'd been on the sauce all night.

The best rider & team won again in mixed conditions. vd Mark on slicks from 15th on the grid and closing them down PDQ.

James Haydon doesn't look like he has lost much weight to me? A bit maybe but he is no where near his racing weight. Was out all day yesterday so I watched the days racing on Eurosport catchup. Watching live today. Not looking good for Honda or BMW so far.
