I know we've seen some antics at the last round but I reckon Brookes will play this safe in a follow my leader type fashion. Either that or he'll just be faster than everyone.

1 Josh BROOKES (Ducati) 225 2 Christian IDDON (Ducati) 209 16 3 Glenn IRWIN (Honda) 207 18 4 Jason O'HALLORAN (Yamaha) 206 19 5 Tarran MACKENZIE (Yamaha) 179 46 3 2nd places would be enough for Brookes. He won all 3 last year whilst Redding was riding around to collect just enough points. He also won both races at the 1st meeting at Brands last year. Unless he has a dnf, I cant see him losing it. Forecast is dry, cloudy & cold www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/forecast/u10hjuzyy#?date=2020-10-17

I don't him to win as he's got a stupid haircut and this messes with haircut theory. Short back and sides is what usually gets the job done. Maybe he's a bogan so that's just his natural style?

How cool would it be if little Taz came from behind and won it. Brookes will be crowned barring a disaster though. But I can see some dirty moves coming from JO in a desperate attempt to win. Factor in other riders looking to impress in the last round.

We are still in one fall and it's on/over territory so I suppose Brookes can't risk too much on Saturday.
The only was to see a TM win would be Brookes breaking a leg on Friday.
Something stupid will probably happen like Bridewell wins them all then moans.

Just read that Brands Hatch stats thing on Bikesportnews. Brookes has 19 wins around Brands. Arse.

Hmmm.... Brookes 0.4 down on the o show and in 5th. Maybe it's not a done deal.

Hmmm.... Brookes 0.4 down on the o show and in 5th. Maybe it's not a done deal. Its the most open championship since the Showdown was introduced which caused Hopper's bike issues on the Saturday and took it to the last race with Hill. That was a tense race. Looking at the times in detail, nobody was consistently quicker than the rest. A Irwin's 3 fastest laps were in his first 10 in 1 stint, then he pitted a couple of times going slower after. Will he get up to speed and help his brother out? 1st time there this year so no previous data on these new tyres.

What a race. Other races go like that and it's over for Brookes.

Good season and although the favourite ended up winning the title, it was hardly the forgone conclusion I'd thought it would be.

Good season and although the favourite ended up winning the title, it was hardly the forgone conclusion I'd thought it would be. Today was a bit lacking in drama, but its been a good season. A good comeback from Brookes over the season, after Irwin punted him off at the first meeting. That made it closer. That was the only DNF from the top 3.

Odd that todays races were so spread out compared to yesterday. I guess Brookes won it fair and square given he also got taken out at Donny.
