I kind of decided I'd watch WSB/BSB coverage and have MotoGP on silent on another screen. Fell asleep and had to restart the superbike coverage so I gave up on the GP feed. Saw a little of the Moto2 race which did look good. Seems like I missed a good race.

But he bike is coming good, if the season was longer they'd be looking at wins towards the end I reckon. They should get Dani Pedrosa on it- as a test rider at least. Look what he's done to the KTM. I'm still sticking with WSB, but it is a bit of a struggle with Jonny running away with another championship. When Marc does it at least he's uber exciting to watch. I know that makes me sound like a bit of a sensationalist, or one of the 'just bleed' type fight fans, but it's not the case. There's just something about Jonny's methodical, inexorable progress which takes away some of the excitement.

I think Rea is boring as a person and that doesn't help. Marquez is still a nerdy boy but he has that look of nutcase about him. He ain't winning no fist fights but you can bet your arse he would dive off a cliff into a pond for fun. Doohan era was different. It was boring but you respected Mick because he was a hard bastard who went through hell to come back and win.

This was the problem I had with the Dunlops when I watched Road. They said there was a buzz but you never got that vibe off them. At least Guy Martin makes people thinks he REALLY is into stuff. I guess that's why Guy Martin is now a millionaire TV presenter.

Cheers for that Clipper. Laughed my cock off at the Jesus comment. I was thinking the same. The lord has no place on a race track.

Maybe it's because I wasn't watching SBK when Rea entered the scene, but I'd rather watch Rea piss all over everyone than Marc.
Rea seems more human, more liable to make errors and have to scrap it out. He seems more respectful as a rider too, when he has to overtake he does it without acting like he owns the track and thinking that everyone should let him pass.
Marc just pisses off into the distance and is never seen again, and when he has to overtake, he just barges past everyone giving no fucks.

I don't know, Mr The Toe Clipper, Marc seems (to me at least) to make way more mistakes than Rea (on the Kawasaki at least). I don't think Marc feels that people should let him pass, I think he feels that he is much faster than them (in most cases he is right) and that he takes the smallest of gaps the split second they present themselves (some of which aren't really there). Johnny is more reserved and analytical, he'll take a quick overtake if it presents itself via someone going wide etc, but apart from that he'll wait a couple of laps and find the best place to get past. Marc's is just on the absolute edge of crashing most of the time. It's the reason why there's no-one else like him, or never has been for that matter.

Marquez is like a version of Schwantz that can stay on when it counts. (mostly)

Actually I take that back. Clipper’s post seems to have disappeared. The work of the lord? I fear for Clipper now. He may soon be smote.
