That's weird, Roobarb had a thread on the SBK section and I was typing a reply, but when I hit send it said the thread didn't exist, and indeed it doesn't, it has disappeared!
Anyway big shame, if Roobarb can post the Italian article agian it's a good read.

He was a fine addition to the golden era of WSB. One of those guys you could never rule out but you'd never put down for a title.

I did a bike tour in Morocco few years ago. 1 of the group had Parkinsons. When he remembered his drugs he was ok to ride. When he didn't he was all over the place. He said it was probably going to be his last big adventure as it was getting worse even with the drugs.
Hopefully Frankie can keep it together as long as possible with medication. Definitely one of the best characters in WSB.

That’s a shame....
My Mum has Parkinson’s, she’s still ok mentally and not on medication but is very unsteady on her feet....she won’t go out on her on in case she falls. It’s a real cunt of a disease.
