The death of the real Hockenheim circuit is something I think that will haunt me forever. The absolute madness of the decision to fuck that circuit I will never understand.

From what I've read it was some bullshit about the fans seeing more laps, too much space between marshalls, too much upkeep on the tarmac, the ability to ram more fan stands in and also being cunts.
Don't know why they couldn't have come up with a new loop whilst retaining the old one.
I've been playing the circuit in Automobilista 2, it's got all the variations from 77,88,2001 and current. The old ones are the best.
