We didnt see what happened between vd Mark & Barrier, the only clips Barrier was in front. Why did Barrier kick off? Did vd Mark pass him & run wide off camera? VdM was behind Barrier on the last turn of their respective flying laps....seemed to be pissed off because he maybe thought Barrier held him up...I’m making an assumption here.....but it didn’t look like it to me. When you are both going for a fast lap the onus is on the rider behind. I think Barrier screwed up the last corner which my have slowed him down. Barrier was out of order on the in lap...deliberately cut up the inside causing VdM To have to pick up his bike. He’s French, innit?

Tuned in and hoping for a good result. Not quite anyone but Rea but close. Feel a bit shit about thinking that.

What a comeback after yesterday.

I think if Davies can keep his form or improve and maintain third in the championship, he will probably keep his ride for one more season. Unless Rinaldi takes a couple more wins. If so they could end up swapping rides. Also if either of them can start backing up Redding and taking points off of Rea, it will do them both good in the eyes of Ducati. Then again if Redding wins and goes back to MotoGP, they could be team mates. So in conclusion, I've no idea what will happen.

Great mental strength from Redding. He did a Rea on Rea stuffing it up him early on and not the usual Ducati power pass. Higher temperatures will matter in the long race for tyres.

Wow, that was tough stuff, Rea smoking that rear. When he's doing shit like that you can't hold anything anything against him but sometimes it just seems to easy for him.

I think Redding needed that after yesterday. Beating Rea in a superpole race to say I'm not going away. Will Rea go for the soft SP tyre in R2? I got the impression from what they were saying yesterday on TV that Redding cant as he is too heavy.

Redding needed that win psychologically, but he really needs Rea to DNF a race to be in with a chance of the title I reckon.
Can't see past Rea for the win in race 2, he won't make the same mistake as he did yesterday.
Hope Rinaldi takes another podium though. I don't know if he has a chance of taking Davies; ride next year, but someone will give him a factory ride sooner or later.

Maybe? But I could see an all Ducati podium in this race.

Redding, Davies and Rinaldi are all fast here. There is a chance Rea could be fourth or DNF trying to win. Depends on start but this is going to be a good race.

So Rea sticks with his original R1 tyre, Davies swaps from SP tyre to normal, Redding swaps from normal to SP tyre. Crikey.

Rinaldi's times are slowing but Rea cant get past. If Redding gets within 0.5s I think Rea will stick a hard pass in.
