I wonder if he'll do anything?

Damn Meeks, you beat me to it fella. I was just reading this on motorsport. I don't know is the honest answer. He was running well in GPs before his illness. He said that his return on the smaller classes didn't suit him and he wanted back on to bigger bikes.
If there's any of the old Folger in him then yes, I think we would do alright. But the works Kawasakis, Ducatis, Yamahas are strong and even the Hondas now are no slouches, then you've got Baz running up front as well as Rinaldi. Hopefully he gets top ten.

You would like to think if you could podium a gp bike then wsb would be a step you could make. Tbh I'd rather see him doing wsb than stuff like testing. Same with Bradley Smith but Smith seems to think WSB is below him.
Did we ever find out what his problem was? Rumour at one point seemed to be his head was elsewhere.

Gilbert syndrome, but I am not going to even try to pretend that I would know what the impact of that would be on a professional bike racer.

I'm pretty sure he has done some EWC racing as well as the IDM races. If he was on the same equipment as VDM I could see him getting a 6th or 7th at best. But I'm pretty sure he won't be on that level of bike so probably 10th.

I honestly expected him to turn up in MotoE at some point, and that wouldn't be such a bad thing either. But better this. I don't think you lose a talent like his so if he's sorted himself out he could do well.

He'll be in a different postcode to Otis and Rae.

He'll be in a different postcode to Otis and Rae. The thing is, he has actually done a bit of a "Redding" hasn't he? Although the reasons are different: Shows good potential in MotoGP, doesn't meet expectations finds himself having to step back not one, but several paces and ends up in a national championship which is clearly beneath hima and which he should walk with relative ease. WSBK is the perfect solution for him, as it is for Scott.
