Could be big, could be small.
I recently bought a film I'd held in great regard in my memory and when I watched the new, restored etc. Blu Ray I found myself bored shitless by halfway through. Last time I owned it was a vhs copy from when Alex Cox had Moviedrome on BBC2, so was really looking forward to it.
Film in question was Mr Vampire a Hong Kong horror /comedy/ slapstick action classic but at the end I just thought arse, I spent £15 on that.
Oh well!

I got a bargain Renthal chain for my bike at half price. It turned up yesterday and the master link is one of those bastard solid pin type rivets instead of the hollowed out pins for easy riveting...
I bet I'll fuck that up when it comes to fitting it!

Hmmm, last disappointed? Let me think about this for a minute!
No luck with finding a job yet. There's stuff out there, but I'm either lacking a few skills/knowledge or they're not paying enough to cover my unusual home circumstances. I might have to take a punt on something and hope that I can pick things up as I go, or except a role which is borderline from a finance POV and hope that it develops into something better.
Early days!

yeah. the last two years of my life have been a real cack-ciabatta if i'm honest. i'm fucking bored of it now.
most recent disappointment was yesterday. someone drove into my car and only by pure luck, did i go out minutes after it happened and point it out to him. if i hadn't, he'd have scarpered. no doubt.
but it's still early, so let's see what today brings...

Every day i check the news to find out if at last some lunatic yank has finally done the decent thing and bumped off the fat orange cunt in the white house.
So far every day has been a disappointment.

You're right fat-wallet Dave was the SP2 man. Didn't he tell the job centre his minimum wage was 70k? I think Ninja was always disappointed he wasn't the forum wage leader. Still had enough to buy deeply aesthetically horrible bikes like the Multistrada though.

Very disappointed today. Set out to look at bikes. Stop for petrol...... Battery is dead! Arse!
Got home after comedy petrol station nonsense where wife didn't know how to open a bonnet. Women!
Not bought a bike battery in ages, quite disappointed a decent is £60+ It'll have to get a cheap chingchong one and get ride of bike I think.

I imagine that you'd scrape by on £70k in London but you can live like a king on half that up here.

Times are hard in Yorkshire too though. Even legendary low price brewery Sam Smiths has put some of it's drinks up 50%! It's £3 now.
I also have to go back to work tomorrow and earn my wage. What a fucking cunt.

I used to have a 3 mile drive to work and if it was windy in the afternoon a 2 or 5 mile drive from there to go windsurfing. What price would I put on that? Today's disappointment was mis-judging the wind speed and not rigging my largest sail.
