Some daft bastard my mate knows put a 500hp cossie engine in a mk2 escort. It's basically a escort shell on a custom floor pan/chassis. Goes like fuck apparently.
I hate watching American car stuff on YouTube as the cunts all have kwikfit sizes garages and every tool imaginable.
