I know there's been some jigging about but I think Brookes takes it this year but some margin.

Is it a sad life to watch live timing?

Brookes fastest in the 1st session, not at all surprised. I did wonder if the regs were changed over the winter to balance any Ducati advantage out, considering the top 3 last year were all Ducati, and got 36% of the points total between them. They were probably the better riders though.

Is it a sad life to watch live timing? I had it running on my laptop and looked at it once in a while. It gave me a break from rearranging my CD collection into chronological order, it was in artist order before. This afternoon I'll do the same with my stamp collection.

I keep reading updates on testing going on, or just finished. Given that the season will be delayed or scraped, it all seems a waste of time. Will the showdown be the actual season? Even if they run it behind closed doors, how would you feel about racing knowing the hospitals will be full. Its an occupational hazard being injured, but the consequences have got a lot worse. Break a wrist and it will still be plastered, but if you require surgery, the subsequent intensive care afterwards will be scarce.

This just illustrates the consequences of the virus. Pretty much everything is a business. The real knock on might be next season when sponsorship funds might be scarce. I say run it but everyone paying to get in must have an exclusion zone.

Run every round at Silverstone. Plenty of room to spread out!
Looked on BBC. 4 cases in North Yorkshire. Get Croft back on the calendar!
