I'd have bitten your hand off for that point before the match but ultimately disappointed that we didn't do more. 2 points from 12 is a very poor start but looks like progress is being made. Can't see us holding on to Turnbull but if he goes then it's a much needed financial breather for the club. I was listening to the radio commentary but it was a struggle as Alan Preston is such a dick. Sounds like Turnbull was the best player on the park. |

Aye. Only his 3rd start since his operation but seems to have totally regained his form. Be interesting to see if Celtic are still interested. I'd rather he went to another league though. It's always gutting when they get the big move and come back to utterly fucking destroy you.

Has any outsider clocked the Leeds fans' reaction to Brighton not agreeing to sell them a player? The long and short of it is they like the player in question having had him on loan but have overlooked that Brighton are not obligated to agree what they consider a reasonable fee and therefore sell him. They have lost their shit over it.

Scotlandfootballclub took the mighty Israel to penalties tonight.
Honest tae fuck it was dire. I can't remember the last time we had so many players playing at such a high (club) level but it's just not gelling. Fair play there were injuries and Covid call-offs but on paper this is the strongest squad we've had in decades. I don't even blame the manager. We all wanted Steve Clarke in and he has coached at the highest level. I blame Ruth Davidson. Because she's a cunt and I need to blame someone.

I expected more from Slovakia last night but I felt we were very comfortable, particularly in defence. We need more goals. Lyndon Dykes can give that but we need more goalscorers competing for that position. See what Wednesday brings. Clarke will have had a fair bit of time with the squad by then. |

Fact is we are becoming a decent side and not conceding many goals (none the last three games) but as Scotland fans it’s traditional to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. That way you’re never really that gutted when it all goes tits up.

Actually looked like a team. More like a decent club side than a national team. Maybe that was a result of the unusually long international break giving the manager and squad more time together but you can't deny that we're significantly better than we were a year ago. And bear in mind there were no Tierney, Robertson, Christie, Forest last night.
Not getting my hopes up for the Serbia game, it will be a tough ask, but we're improving.

No fans is helping the players relax more I reckon. Games are closer to pre season or exhibition work outs. More goals are being scored because players are happier to take risks and use more flair.
