Watching the game last night as a neutral with my pizza and Peroni i decided to turn the sound down and listen to radio Scotland commentary (which was very balanced by the way). Unfortunately there was around 30 seconds delay so went with ITV which was 100 times better than the BBC pish. England started superbly and totally dominated the first half but only one shot on target. By the time Italy equilised England were in full defensive mode and imo that was the time to bring on creative subs. Mancini was constantly freshening things up but Southgate just stuck by tiring players. Grealish comes on and just tries to win free kicks, something Kane and Sterling were doing the whole match. Pathetic. These are decent players rolling around acting like toddlers.
Then Southgate brings on Rashford and Sancho with 30 seconds left to apparently take penalties. Fuck sake, how much pressure is that? Insane.
Southgate has so much talent at his disposal but is so fucking negative with his tactics.
Italy were deserved winners over the whole tournament and England were victims of their own hype and that's not meant to come across as a bitter Scottish loser's swipe.
Great tournament.

Got a brilliant start then were out played, out muscled, out thought by the gaffer too, it was the premier league v Serie A in reverse, Italy grafted harder and smothered Kane & Sterling into obscurity, never seen such a lazy centre forward for us, no urgency whatsoever in closing down or working the defenders, if the cunt wasn't fit give some one else a go at it, must be galling for a squad player to see him get game after game playing like that.
We have a promising bunch right now but so long as Southgate is in charge it'll mean fuck all.
And lastly, Englands player of the tournament for me was Kyle Walker.

It was a straight red that...Still, no use in complaining. You win some, you lose some. I think we just bottled it a little bit to be honest.
Still have to be happy...A major final and we beat Germany along the way.
The only downside is the abuse that Sancho et al are receiving. Its embarassing

Tremendous Edinburgh derby today. End to end stuff with both goalkeepers digging out some remarkable saves to deliver an excellent 0-0.
Also noticed that Odsonne Edouard scored twice for Crystal Palace after coming off the bench for his debut. The cunt couldn't buy a goal in Scotland. Proof if any was required that the English premiership is a fucking pub league.
