Last night i decided not to watch the Croatia Spain game because I thought it would be a cagey affair. Fucking arsehole. Then I gave the France Switzerland a miss and recorded the highlights later. Absolute tube.
I'm watching England Germany tonight so they fucking better deliver. I want goals galore, penalties,red cards, parachutists, streakers.
May the best team win!!

I think England Germany will struggle to provide the entertainment of Spain Croatia!
I predict the total opposite in fact, 0-0 at 90 minutes, possibly remaining that way after extra time.

With England's low risk approach, 0 goals conceded and just 2 scored in 3 games, I cant see England at home going out and taking it to Germany. Thats even with Germany being a relatively weak team compared to past teams. They have been letting in goals although they did play France (1) & Portugal (2). 2 conceded to Hungary and they scraped through. In this tournament Mbappe hasnt scored a goal & missed a penalty in normal time. Plus 1 in the penalty shootout. Will Kane mirror that? I think we can count on Southgate picking him today. At least France had Benzema. The German striker Müller hasn't scored either. Both England & Germany have been playing just 1 striker up front. This does have 0-0 all over it. Think I'll put Stones & Gosens in my fantasy team. Maybe Sterling. |

Not many teams could leave the talents of Rashford, Grealish, Mount, Foden and Sancho on the bench... The worry is, I'm not sure England should do either.
Did Southgate think, I'm going to build a wall, a very big wall, that will keep them out.
I'll be happy to be proven wrong though. 0-0 at half time, bring on the attackers with fresh legs whilst the Germans aren't looking?

Thank fuck that Hun missed that one on one. Arguably Sterling's best through ball of the game, really cut the English defence in half  Just kidding. It would have been terrible if that had led to a goal. He has played another blinder. England's plan has been dont make any mistakes or give the ball away for 70 minutes, take it steady on buildups, then bring on fresh legs and give it a go later. Grealish again. Once they start upping the pace and getting Kane involved more quickly things start happening. Its not exciting to watch for 70 minutes, but its the end result that counts. Relieved when the 2nd went in. |

Why the fuck the BBC interviewer mentioned to Southgate his 1996 penalty miss I dont know. He has just led England to a fine win over Germany. They really need to up their game with the questioning if they keep relying on that to get a response.

Well done England. Got the job done but Southgate must have been watching videos of Italy in the 90s.
I'm pretty sure if he played Sancho and Bellingham they'd still win but with a bit more pazaz.
