A few years ago this would have been a stupid question but now I'm not so sure. Just say he quit GP and moved to WSB with Yamaha, I don't think he'd take the title.

If Rossi moved to WSB with Yamaha, they would drop Crescent like a stone, bring everything in-house and increase their budget to accommodate him to guarantee that he would win. As things stand, he would need to override the R1 to win races and, at this stage, I couldn't see him doing that... IMHO. No wins in MotoGP for over 2 years and going to WSB with a slime chance of success would not be the way that Rossi would want to end his road racing career.

I think it’s too late for him now, and I don’t think he’d be interested anyway. Far better to see out 2020 then call it quits...concentrate on his SKY-VR46 team.

Good question.
I don't know but i'd like to see him have a go. BSB would be better.

I think he is fading fast now speedwise. Next year will see him DNF a lot rather than finish outside of the top ten. Can't see him doing the full season. I've wanted to see him go to WSB for the past 3 years. But I think on his current form it is too late now.
Been a great rider and he has took the whole sport to a new level. But he doesn't seem to know that his time has passed.
