"Oo d'yer fink you are then? Stirling Moss?"
At 90 he had a decent run. But he was still entering classic car events at 81 đ

Moss was boss. I remember on a few interviews he said if there had been no danger in racing he wouldn't have been drawn to it.

Fuck. Tim Brooke-Taylor age of 79 because of coronavirus. The Goodies was mega was I was young. Yeah when you were 8. Watch it back now and it's horrendous TV. It's astonishing just how much shite got on telly when we only had 3 channels. Bernie fucking Clifton is a case in point. Never off the telly 40 years ago and all he did was pretend to ride a fucking ostrich.

Moss was boss. I remember on a few interviews he said if there had been no danger in racing he wouldn't have been drawn to it. If it wasnât for that pesky Fangio Moss would have been a multiple F1 champion. Did he not gift Hawthorn his title with some piece of gentlemanly conduct?

Stirling Moss was just amazing to watch, I was at the first Goodwood revival meeting and he was going head to head with Martin Brundle who was fresh out of F1. Brundle eventually managed to pass him but blew the car up on the next lap!
Moss lived in my home town and as a child I recall him drifting round a bend as he passed my father as we were going in the opposite direction. My father questioned his sanity and genealogy in two words, dad wasnât a racing fan.
And number three for today is Peter Bonetti.
RIP Stirling, Tim and Peter.

Michael Robinson, ex Brighton, Man City , Liverpool player who made Madrid his home after retiring and ended up as a football commentator and broadcaster on Spanish TV and Radio.
Seemed like a great guy. Died today at 61. Fucking cancer.

Oh. Utter fuck. He was my hero as an early teenager on the terraces at Brighton. That's really hacked me off.
