I was hoping for a miracle... so sad that it had to end this way.
Not wanting to be controversial, but maybe he wouldn't have wanted to live in a severely restricted state, which probably would have been the case.
I see a lot of comments on Facebook against the driver too, but according to the Italian press it may not have been the driver entirely at fault.

Quick story time. When Pip and Eugene were able to afford to hire their first motorhome in the paddock, they used the same company who hired Nicky his. The owner attended the events in case their was maintenance or problems. He came to Pip to set up their van and said 'Fucking Nicky caught me again, he told me the freezer wasn't working, while I was kneeling down I turned round to see him sitting on the edge of the chair with his bollocks hanging out his shorts' seems he was known for his pranks and as Matt and Norbs said well liked by all.

Really sad to loose such a hard working and well liked guy.
