Big news in Spain as some stupid bitch, already under a ban for previous drunk driving, 4 times over the limit, high on coke at 8.30 am killed 3 cyclists a few weeks ago...
She is looking at a max 4 yr term... A joke.
I hope it doesn't come to that in this case obviously, but I hope the driver gets a stiffer punishment than he/she would in Spain.

Mixed reports with what I hope is just lots of speculation but it certainly looks serious. Hope Nicky makes a speedy recovery.

From what I've heard it very serious. Kept in a coma due to head injury and lost a lot of blood due to a compound leg fracture.
Hope he pulls through.

Just read an update... not good.
It seems that his condition is too week to be able to operate. They have already had to resuscitate him once in intesive care....
Fingers and toes crossed...

From the article, it seemes that this information is not an official statement, just what nosey poking journalists have got from workers at the hospital, so it may not (hopefully) be that accurate.

Horrible news and it's too early to speculate on who was to blame. Whatever the reason for the accident turns out to be, my hopes are for better news soon and a speedy recovery soon after.
