Well it's up soon. That circuit that was going to teach Redding a thing or two but he was 3rd fastest in the test there so that theory is done too. Brookes was fastest and is probably a fair bet for a win or two.
I think if Bridewell doesn't finish ahead of the Bewiser boys it will sink in that's just making the numbers up for the showdown. The only dark horse I think post Cadwell will be McKenzie still but obviously if he crashes again he'll be done too.

Redding still 1s off Brookes, cant find the breakdown of times to see if they all put a soft tyre in at the end or not. Its good they had a test there yesterday to get some dry setup time. Today looks like it will be wet all day. Sat/Sun look to be dry.

Why did Josh do so well, not good after such a bonzer round 1?

That's mental. What did he do to get it doing that at that point? Did something fail?

It looked a distance after the mountain jump, maybe he had a tankslapper which went on a long time before spitting him off?

I think they said on Eurosport he lost the back end off the throttle on the way in. Odd one.

SS600 is fucking shit now. Kennedy is taking the piss most weekends. Is he that good or are the other teams just shit? They whole class is a clusterfuck now anyway what with this GP2 business. Should just junk the class now 600s as we used to know them are dead.
Adventure bike racing. That would be cool to replace them or modern cafe racers.

Starting to think Kennedy is cheating. 1st lap massive drive out of charlies 1 and 2 into driving straight past down park straight. Nobody else in any of the races has got that hooked up and driving to overtake on speed alone with no out-braking. Odd how Seeley has also dropped off the pace last couple of rounds.

What's up with Redding's starts? The second one initially seemed ok but he totally bogged once he was rolling. I guess some of the showdown circuits allow a slow start but Cadwell doesn't really. PEople never tend to get back on once dropped.

I thought O’Halloran barged into him at the start causing him to fall back further.

I thought O’Halloran barged into him at the start causing him to fall back further. O’Halloran paid the price though as he ran off track. I don't mind mixed bike racing in a class i.e SS600 & GP2, I find it quite entertaining. However, seeing as the market for the former in the UK has bottomed out and only Yamaha & Kawasaki are producing bikes, I can't see the relevance of the SS600 class anymore; there are no CBR & GSX-R in the field and only a couple of old Daytonas, the majority are R6s and a handful of ZX-6Rs.

The current 600 mash up is down to carry on until 2020 from what I read.
The problem in biking at the moment is going fast isn't what sells anymore so what can you bring to the track?
No manufacturer is really competing with sports bikes other than at the 1000cc level. I remember a time when they were trying to out do each other at 125,250,400,600,750 and 1000cc! The only other competition I'm really seeing is Kwak vs KTM in SSP300.
At the moment you've got junior sstock600 and ssport600 ready to be gone in another year and isn't motostar also dead now and being replaced next year?
