Wasn't sure whether ELav should have maybe conceded a bit more whether Lowes forced the door too much. Anyway, nasty accidented avoided.

Theres footage from another angle and you can see lowes come onto Eugenes line and move him wide with nowhere to go. I would have said it was a harsh but understandable move, at 160mph it was fucking insane. he's a strange lad Alex, but thats better saved for another day.

Didn't he do something similar to Shakey in 2013?

Would have been interesting to see how it would have panned out if Rea had not made that mistake. I expected more from Melandri too.

I thought it was decent racing, shame about all the red flags though.

Pity about Camier. Probably would finished off the podium but was going well enough.

Same old, same old. Had it on sky+ so fastforwarded through most of it. Listening to a few people interviewed it seems that they might try and change a few rules in the off season. Ten Kate lad was suggesting spec ecu or more engines/testing for teams that haven't won in a certain time. Byrne says change to BSB rules. Something needs to be done. If there are no rule changes for next season, I'll get my 2018 predictions in early; 1.Rea 2.Davies 3.Sykes 4.Whoever rides the 2nd factory Ducati

The problem I have with it now is how many wins Rea gets, it's not the same as previous eras. It just doesn't mean the same thing. Ok, I'm a Biaggi fan but once he left and Sykes won, the Rea joined Kwak it's been pretty dull. 2012 was the last really closely fought title, it was the last modern classic season.
BSB RULES NOW!!!

The WSS300 race was entertaining; just like Moto3.

The WSS300 race was entertaining; just like Moto3it was the race of the day Assen too. This support class has been one make in the past (KTM then Honda) and it was rubbish. This new 300 class has been great so far.

I enjoy the WSS 300. Camier does a cracking job all things considered IMO

I like Camier but until MV put another rider on the bike we'll never know how good the bike is. When Camier was Max B's team mate at Aprilia he was miles behind Max in the championship.

The new grid position rules worked well at Imola. There were some arse clenching moves going on in the first couple of laps and decent racing throughout. I enjoyed it, especially Rea getting beaten It was hardly a sporting handshake on the cooling lap either, the cunt couldn't get his hand back quick enough.
