Brookes fast already. Redding doing ok on one of those courses people claimed he wouldn' be able to handle.

I'm f**cking impressed with Scott, proving a lot of people wrong. That said, I'm a bit worried he'll spanner himself at Cadwell.

I think the die hard BSB fan has attached too much mythical status to the championship and the tracks. Redding is an obviously world level rider and BSB is run on tracks that club racers run on year after year, they aren't tracks that you have to be some elite rider to tackle.
What I am surprised about with Redding is what his chief technician said about him in that he's being patient and learning stuff and giving good feedback, I think by the time his tenure ended in Motogp I thought he was just like 'hulk smash' when it came to understanding the bike.

Good 1st win for Buchan in R1, by some margin, 6.2s.
Interesting looking at the Ducatis performances across the weekend.
FP1 Brookes was fastest, FP2 Redding was fastest. So it was quick from the off. Oddly, FP3 Redding was top Ducati in 8th 0.383s behind. Q in the wet, Bridewell was 10th 0.848s off the pace. R1 2nd, 5th and 8th (18.4s down). R2 1st, 3rd and 4th (4.7s down).
I keep expecting the Ducatis to start slowly at the weekend and go faster when they get it dialled in. But looking back at the Monteblanco testing which is a fairly tight "British type" circuit Redding was fastest there.

I really would like to see Redding win the BSB title and then go straight to WSB and take the ride off of Chaz.

Redding is still only 26, time for him to get back on the World scene....MotoGP is done but WSB for sure.
