Sounds cool but not as cool as a V twin on full Akrapovic

Sounds cool but not as cool as a V twin on full Akrapovic Never been a massive v-twin fan. All singles and twins of any sort are too much boom and not enough fury for my liking. I like a bit of high pitch snarl in my engine notes. Can't wait until my year with Aviva is up and I can move to another insurer that allows exhaust swaps so I unleash the V4.

Nice, but the sound of a howling triple beats most things in my opinion...Or a V4 2T

I still love the sound of a 500cc V4 2-stroke on full chat, followed by the relative silence when they shut off for a corner and the cackle of the exhaust when they get back on the throttle.

Aprillia Moto GP bike, sounded rough and untamed.
Thats because it was! They basically crammed as much horsepower in to the riders right hand and forgot about things like handling and brakes etc...
I remember watching Laconi light it up coming out of Coppice on to the back straight...Sounded and looked incredible

To this day, the only bike that frightened the life out of me when I revved it up in neutral is:
This was back in 1990 when I did my YTS at a Honda Dealership. I was doing a service on a CG125 and the VF was sitting in the workshop. It had a Motad pipe on it. I started it up and let it warm up a bit before giving it a big rev. Fucking shit the life out of me.
As regards to the best sounding bike ever, in my opinion, it is a factory YZR250 of 1990 vintage on the pipe in top gear. Awesome sound.

Best sounding bike I ever owned was an RGV250M with Johnsson carbon fibre cans. That sounded like a GP bike, crispy like bacon.
Second was an FZ750 with a Vance & Hines full system. Mates following me used to say that it made their ears hurt, but the 5 valve head made a great sound, but the exhaust used to rust faster that I could paint it.

That does sound pretty motogp Hoping for this sound soon Is that thew whine of gear driven cams that i can hear in the back ground? My wife's NC24 sounded really nice with Scorpion end can fitted, especially as it approached the red-line!
