You enjoying the Katoom. Whats it like for touring on. Fine, not a bike for a long time in the saddle (seat quite hard after a while), but good riding position.....Great fun on the bends!

I bought a gel seat pad - cost £20 and takes minutes to fit / simple to tie down. Cant recommend one enough for touring if you get the hard seat feeling after distance.

Yep, I have an airhawk seatpad, but couldn’t find it pre-trip!!

Do it Meeks....top tip, check the weather a few days in advance and go.....we didn’t have that luxury but that’s what I’d do next time......We met a girl from London in a cafe at John O’Groats, doing it on her own having only been riding for a few months!!...top girl!. It’s a short hop from Yorkshire ....
