My fucking insurance (hastings) won't let me mod anything otherwise it'd be braided stuff on while I'm at it.
Not sure what's going really, the vacuum kit is sucking out air after air but no more fluid will pull through. I can see the gauge showing decent vacuum, open the valve, bubbles are coming through but I must have done it like 30 times and still get nowhere. When my one way valve gets here I'll try that and then give up and try and reverse bleed it. Fucking GAY bike to go with my GAY car.

Also only just noticed the front pads need replacing as well. This is what happens when you buy used. Every cunt shams you. I bought this off a bloke in Harrogate with new BMW and a big house assuming it would have been looked after seeing as he looked flush. Clearly what it can also mean is he's rich enough not to give a fuck about bothering to fix stuff as who cares.
I'm off to fucking bed to dream of owning a new machine and riding with a decent lid with no air leaks in the visor and custom made leathers that don't fuck my knees in.

Do what I do Meeks. Buy a second hand master cylinder top casing and drill it so you can fit the gunson. Or if you are feeling tight, cut a piece of 3mm sheet metal and make your own top.

I used to own a '98 VFR750F-S, great bike but I didn't realise how shit the brakes were until I did a trackday on one of the original APrilia RSV1000R's (with the decent Brembos). When I got back on the VFR on the road I nearly went through a crossroads trying to stop in time, my brain was still in RSV mode!!

How old are the brake lines? Who knows. Knowing my luck, still on the original equipment. Hopefully my speed bleeder will turn up today so I can pump away and if that's a dead end I'm waiting for some better fitting clear tubing to arrive as I've got a large syringe and I'll ram fluid up it using the old bleed valve. If that feels then I'd better start working my through parts to replace. It's annoying because I don't even really use the rear anyway. Never have done but it will need doing for the MOT.

No, this is better than bad luck this unbelievable stupidity......let me tell you a story...
Once up a time a retard and his retard friend tried to bleed some brakes. The retard operated the bleed valve whilst the other regard poured in the fluid.... Or so he thought
The other retard had unscrewed the cap and NOT REMOVED THE RUBBER SEAL. Hence being told the fluid was not going down. Meanwhile the other retard has just vacuumed all his fluid out of the brakes.
When the retard installed his speed bleeder and did it in his own, he took the cap off and suddenly realised the terrible mistake.
And then the daft cunt spilt a bottle of dot 4 all over the floor....but at least the brakes work.
At least i discovered speed bleeders work very well. Piss easy job with those in.

FUCK MY ARSE!
Received my brake pads.....took the old ones out and tried to fit the news ones.....not quite fitting....put them side by side....notch at the top of pad to seat it missing off these ones. Basic shape is the same but no notch at the top. Fuck.
Check ebay to make sure it listed 97vfr..yep...email seller....get reply saying "can't you just modify them to fit and if not would you like 'small' partial refund.....told the cunt I can't partially fit the brakes and want a full refund and he shouldn't be suggesting customers modify braking components..actually get refund and buy from M&P instead for twice the price but hopefully will fit.
